Water Resource Management
The primary wastewater generated by East Tender Optoelectronics consists of domestic sewage. In accordance with regulatory requirements, the Company applies to the competent authority for approval of a Water Pollution Prevention Plan or discharge permit and appoints qualified dedicated units and personnel to be responsible for wastewater management. Domestic sewage is treated through wastewater treatment facilities and legally discharged via the sewer system. Daily inspections are conducted at wastewater sampling points, and pH levels are regularly tested on a monthly basis to ensure that effluent quality remains normal and complies with applicable discharge standards.

All water sources are supplied by tap water; no groundwater is extracted.
Water intensity is calculated as: total water withdrawal ÷ operating revenue (per NT$1 million).
Water Resource Management or Reduction Targets
- Ensure the effective operation of the environmental management system, implement environmental management and continuous improvement in pollution prevention, and reduce environmental impacts.
- Strengthen process improvements and controls over pollution prevention equipment operations, conduct regular inspections in accordance with environmental protection requirements, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Promote energy conservation, carbon reduction, and recycling and reuse to reduce resource consumption and effectively implement pollution prevention.
- Enhance education and training to raise environmental awareness among all employees and fully fulfill environmental protection responsibilities.
