To further enhance the protection of labor and human rights, in addition to complying with Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act and other relevant laws and regulations, the Company explicitly declares its commitment to respecting and safeguarding employee human rights. Specific measures include compliance with applicable regulations, protection of freedom of employment, prohibition of child labor, prevention of forced labor, implementation of humane treatment, and prohibition of any form of improper discrimination or sexual harassment.
All work performed by employees is voluntary, and the Company strictly prohibits slavery and human trafficking. No employee shall be subject to discrimination based on skin color, age, gender, sexual orientation, race, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, membership in associations, or marital status.
To foster a friendly and inclusive workplace, the Company promotes a culture of mutual respect and actively prevents both explicit and implicit forms of sexual harassment. In addition to establishing relevant policies and regulations, the Company has set up dedicated sexual harassment complaint hotlines and email addresses to provide employees with accessible reporting channels.
Furthermore, the Company has implemented personal data protection mechanisms to ensure that complainants are not subject to inappropriate treatment or retaliation as a result of filing complaints or for any other reason. In 2024, East Tender Optoelectronics hired a total of 3 new employees, representing a new hire rate of 3.49%. During the same year, 5 employees left the Company, resulting in a turnover rate of 5.81%.
