In response to climate change issues, East Tender Optoelectronics conducts comprehensive management of environmental matters related to air, water resources, and waste. In addition to complying with regulatory requirements, the Company effectively identifies environmental impact factors and formulates corresponding improvement strategies.

East Tender Optoelectronics strictly complies with all applicable environmental, safety, and occupational health regulations. Whether addressing environmental safety issues at its facilities or environmental pollution impacts arising from production processes, the Company conducts timely risk assessments and formulates appropriate response measures. Its strategies specifically include:
Management Indicators and Outcomes of Investments
In response to Taiwan’s 2050 Net-Zero Emissions Policy, the Company has established target-based controls for water consumption, electricity usage, and carbon emissions. Designated responsible personnel regularly record and statistically analyze energy consumption data on an annual basis, develop improvement plans, and continuously adjust management measures. Resource reduction targets are set accordingly, including routine environmental maintenance, the replacement of outdated high-energy-consuming equipment, and the procurement of equipment with superior energy efficiency performance.
At the same time, the Company calculates and reviews its energy consumption annually and strengthens energy-saving advocacy to enhance employees’ awareness of carbon reduction.
In terms of pollution prevention, the Company has obtained the required wastewater discharge permits. With regard to waste management, the Company has established clear regulations governing the classification, collection, storage, disposal, and reporting of industrial waste, and continues to increase the proportion of recyclable waste in order to reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste sent for incineration. Through proactive environmental sustainability initiatives, the Company aims to effectively reduce environmental pollution, minimize resource waste, and continue progressing toward its sustainable development goals.
